Thank you for choosing to serve with Wheeler Mission—we’re so grateful for the time, energy, and compassion you share with our guests. We know that arriving at a new place can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we want to make your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
To help with that, we’ve put together clear instructions on where to park at each of our locations. Whether you’re serving a meal, leading a class, or lending a helping hand in another way, our goal is to guide you right where you need to be so you can focus on what matters most—serving others.
Shelter for Men - 520 E. Market St.
You may park in the Shelter for Men's parking lot. Otherwise, you may use metered parking. (We do not rent the gravel lot next to our building anymore, so please don't park there!) Enter through the Volunteer Entrance Door #2. Ring the bell and staff will let you in. If you have trouble getting in, try Door #1 or call 317-687-6795.
Men’s Residential Center - 245 N. Delaware St.
Metered parking is available on New York + Delaware Streets. Due to this location being directly downtown, our lot is very small and is reserved for staff and ministry vehicles during business hours. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Enter through the third door on Delaware St.
Center for Women & Children - 3208 E. Michigan St.
Parking for volunteers is available in the gravel lot and the gated lot directly across from the building. The code for the lot is 2007. Ring the bell to the left of the door at the top of the stairs and enter through the main lobby doors. Enter through the door on the right to check in.
Donation Center - 2728 Madison Ave.
At our Donation Center, you’ll find plenty of parking available in the lot right outside the main entrance. Enter through the glass doors, where Roz or Allen will be there to welcome you and guide you to your volunteer area.
Wheeler Mission Thrift Store – 8640 E. 96th St. Fishers
When volunteering at the Fishers Thrift Store, please park in the lot in front of the store. Look for the Wheeler Mission Thrift Store signage to ensure you’re in the correct area. Once parked, come inside through the main entrance and let a sales associate know you’ve arrived to volunteer.
