Summer Camp Sack Lunches
We are seeking volunteers to purchase, assemble, and deliver 50 sack lunches.
Summer at the Center for Women and Children means Summer Camp. For ten weeks, school-aged children who stay at the Center for Women and Children will attend summer camp and will have the opportunity to participate in various field trips. We will rely on sack lunches to feed the children while they are on these trips.
We are looking for groups or individuals to donate these lunches.
Lunches will be delivered on Monday mornings before 10 am if possible.
What goes in the Sack Lunch?
- A sandwich (PB&J, lunchmeat, etc.) - all sandwiches must be prepared in a commercial kitchen. If a commercial kitchen is not an option for you, you can use a prepackaged PB&J sandwich.
- apple or orange
- chips or cookies
- granola bar
- fruit snack or candy
- drink like water or capri sun, etc.
- Please prepare in a brown lunch sack, with the date listed on the outside of the bag.
