After School Care Snack Donations
The Center for Women and Children is so pleased to be able to offer After School Care for the children of our guests. This is available to them each school day. As you know, kiddos are hungry when they get off the bus. We would love for you to help us provide snacks to fill them up.
What we're looking for:
Snacks do not need to be packed in brown bags or separated for the children. We would prefer that they be delivered in the packages that you purchased them in. Our staff can separate them and give them to the children as needed.
Any of the following in quantities of 50-100 would be great. Let us know in the notes what you will be bringing.
What snacks should I bring? These are the snacks requested by our Summer Camp staff. You can purchase one or more of them. Any amount you can contribute will be a blessing.
- Individual bags of Pirates' Booty popcorn
- Nutri-Grain bars
- Mini muffin pouches
- Peanut butter cracker packs
- Cheese and cracker packs
- Veggie straws
- Individual bags of pretzels
- Graham crackers
- Animal crackers
- Beef sticks (like Slim Jims)
- Chewy granola bars
- Cheese sticks
- Yogurt pouches that do not need refrigeration
All items must be store-bought
Where should I bring the snacks? You can deliver them to the Center for Women & Children at 3208 E. Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN 46201. If there's a spot, you can park in the handicap/loading zone in front of the building. At the top of the stairs, to the left of the front doors, there is a doorbell. Ring that, and a staff member will let you in. Be sure to tell the staff that the donations are for our After School Care program.
When should I bring the snacks? You can deliver them anytime between 10:00 am & 4:00 pm on the day you chose when you registered.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Cindy Wright at cindywright@wheelermission.org.
Thank you so much!
