Please consider assisting Wheeler Mission--Bloomington's team at Sunshine & Shelter: A Summer Gathering For Good as we celebrate the impact made in the lives of our guests experiencing homelessness.
Most importantly, Wheeler Mission--Bloomington will publicly unveil our plans to further our mission and vision within our Westplex Avenue campus on the near westside of Bloomington.
Sunshine & Shelter will take place Thursday, July 10 at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church (2700 E. Rogers Rd., Bloomington, IN 47404) between 6 and 7:30 pm.
Food and refreshments will be provided with dress as casual.
Our staff will need volunteers for the following posts:
- Set-Up/Food Preparation: 5-6:30 pm; six (6) volunteers needed
- Greeters: 5:45-6:30 pm; two (2) volunteers needed
- Yard Sign Distribution: 7:15-7:45 pm; two (2) volunteers needed
- Wheeler Mission--Bloomington Table Representation: 7:30-8:15 pm; two (2) volunteers needed
- Clean-Up: 7:30-8:15 pm; six (6) volunteers needed
