As temperatures drop, Wheeler Mission–Bloomington extends overnight emergency shelter to ensure that everyone in our community has a safe, warm place to stay. Volunteers serving as Winter Contingency Monitors play a vital role in this life-saving effort—helping provide hospitality, safety, and support to guests during the coldest months of the year.
Join us for a Winter Contingency Monitor Orientation to learn about volunteer responsibilities, shelter procedures, and how your presence can make a meaningful difference this winter. Orientations are held weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:00–6:45 PM at our Opportunity Lane location.
Help us extend warmth and hope this winter—sign up for an orientation session today!
