How to Register as a Team at Wheeler Mission
Many people bring their family, friends, and coworkers to volunteer together. If you want to reserve spots for other volunteers to join you, you can register as a team.
A Note on Youth Volunteers
- If you are bringing people younger than 18 to volunteer, please check the age requirements on each individual opportunity.
- The minimum age to volunteer is 8 years old.
- If the child is age 13 or older, and have parental consent, they may create an account.
- Please do not create an account for children younger than 13.
- A parent or guardian needs to e-sign the Waiver for children younger than 18. You can also download a PDF of the waiver here.
- Children can be included in the Additional Slots designation (see below for those instructions).
Create a Team
1. Log in or create a volunteer account if you haven't already.

2. Once you've selected the opportunity, date and time you'd like to sign up for, select Register As Team.

3. On the Build Your Team page, enter a Team Name.

4. Click the Add Me button.
5. If you are the organizer, check the box under Leader.

You may then...
6a. Add volunteers individually with their name and email address.

Or...
6b. Reserve Additional Slots for the number of people that will join. You do not have to use 1 option exclusively - you can add volunteers individually and reserve additional slots.

7. Click Continue, and then Finish to create the team.
Manage your Team
1. You can find your team management area by clicking on your initials in the top right corner, or by going to www.wheelervolunteer.org/user/teams/.

2. Scroll down to your team and click Manage Team.

3. Click Copy Join Link. You can paste the Join Link into your own emails to invite people to join the team if you reserved an additional slot for them.

4. You can make any other updates you might need to from this page as well, such as updating the number of additional slots to reserve.

5. Once your serving opportunity is complete, you can access a resume of the hours your team served.
