Christmas Toy Sorting

Description

Time to set up the Santa Shop!

Each year, we accept donations of new, unwrapped toys for our Santa Shop located at the Center for Women and Children. This special shop allows mothers staying at our shelter to choose gifts for their children that they know their children will love.

Santa Shop Toy Sorting — Help Make Christmas Special!
From December 15–17, 2025, we’ll be transforming a room at the Center for Women & Children into a joyful Santa Shop where moms can come shop for free gifts for their children. To make that happen, we need helping hands to sort toys and set up a fun, welcoming space!

What you’ll do:

  • On the morning of December 15, volunteers will help prepare the room by moving a few items out and bringing tables in.

  • After the table setup is complete, we’ll unpack toys and sort them by age and gender.

  • During all other shifts, we will continue to sort and organize toys that are delivered. Our goal is to make the room look and feel like a real toy store—organized, festive, and full of Christmas cheer!

Volunteer Details:

  • Volunteers ages 10 and older are welcome.

  • We can host up to 5 volunteers per shift.

  • Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • This opportunity is open to women and co-ed groups. (Men are welcome if volunteering with a female companion.)

Thank you for helping us bless families and bring joy this Christmas season!
