Partner with Wheeler Mission by providing a meal through the Share-A-Meal program!
You will have the opportunity to purchase and prepare or cater a meal to our guests experiencing homelessness and hunger. This opportunity allows families or groups to work together to create a special event by providing a unique menu and experience. Share-a-Meal hosts have many different options: prepare and cook a meal in a commercial kitchen, cater the meal, provide tablecloths and centerpieces, include notes with each tray, and even possibly provide dinner entertainment/music.
Qualifications for this opportunity:
- A servant's heart, good work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to prepare and provide a meal for a group of up to 120 people depending on the time of year.
- Ability to prepare or cater lunch and/or dinner and drop it off at 201 S. Westplex Ave., Bloomington, IN 47404.
Entrance + Sign In
- Parking: You may park near our left entrance of Wheeler Mission--Bloomington's Emergency Shelter Services building (201 S. Westplex Ave., Bloomington, IN 47404) and someone on our team will assist you with unloading any prepared food.
- Sign in + out on the Volunteer Check-In sheet, with the app on your smartphone, or using your reminder email.
